6/25/20: PQ2 was good too, but didn't have as much emotional impact for me.
9/10/15: I tried to leave the scene on the DS ambiguous so you wouldn't know who or what was involved, just in case you haven't played it yet.
I meant this one to be more amusing-getting all sad over a video game. I'm exaggerating slightly at the amount of tears that were shed, but this really was a great game, and I just finished it today (yesterday, by the time this gets posted). The labyrinths had an awesome, wacky variety that I'd love to see more of in Etrian Odyssey. The best part of me was the story and character development. The whole ride was tugging at my heartstrings, especially with Kanji & Ken, and Zen & Rei. I knew the ending was coming, but it was still bittersweet.
I think the most I cried during a game was with Danganronpa, during Sakura's (in the 1st game) and Gundham's (in the 2nd) big scenes. Those I didn't see coming, and the sadness was more sudden, big, and short, as opposed to long, small amounts drawn out over time.
Uh... I'm rambling again. XD Sorry for the lazy strip, I did it very quickly after getting fully absorbed in finishing PQ. Maybe I'll have more time to work on the comic! ...until Persona 4 Dancing All Night comes out. *hangs head in shame*
